Role Playing Rules and formality

All rules are made for Admins and Users. All rules have been made for the better of this site through expirience on other sites.

1. Administrative Power and Moderation Power
If you are given special privileges by one of the administrators, you are not to abuse the power. Do not rank yourself highly if you do not deserve it and do not take advantage of chatbox moderation power. You are only to kick people from the chat if they disrupt the chat in any way by disrupting the rules of the site.

2. Multiple Characters
Because people tend to make more than one characters, we are only allowing you to have one canon characters and one custom characters, unless given permission by the ROOT Admin. Please, when making another character, try to make them as different from your other character as possible (Unless they are twins or something.)

3. Godmodders
Obviously, we want everyone to be fair, so godmodding is prohibited. If you don't know what it means to godmod, here are a list of examples of what NOT to do.

Dodging every single attack

Controlling other characters

Showing no signs of exhaustion in an intense battles

Having powers you do not have on your character sheets

Using your powers more than the average user would have

4. Language
You may use whatever language you want, but not towards another member and no racial behavior. So no N words. o.e.

Keep swearing to a minimum. You may use swearing for your character while role-playing, but don't use it in every single post. Remember that there might be people on the site who can't see this stuff (i.e. their parents are in the room)

5. Roleplaying
This is a formal posting site, which means that it is for PARA only. We type in paragraphs, as detailed as possible. We are not allowing speed at all. Do not make an RP sample with it. Use complete sentences, quotations, grammar and punctuation. As many details as where we can breathe the very same air as your character. If you're new to role-playing, or don't feel like typing that much, you can role-play at the role-playing academy and type as little or as much as you like.

6. Storylines
Please follow the storyline. If you don't like the storyline, you can create your own or go with a canon arc in the off-rpg section.

7. Relating Self to Characters
You are NOT to make a custom character that is related to canon characters of the show without permission of the person who plays as the canon character and an Admin. If you want to be related to them so bad, play as a real sibling as them, and if they don't have one, be them.

8. Chakra
Do not abuse the power given to you. Every individual on this site has a custom set of chakra. This means that it does not last forever. You can't use S-rank attacks every 5 minutes.

9. Cannon Characters
If you DO want to be a character from the show, it's first come first serve. If they're taken, use someone else. If they die from someone else using them, you must wait for the next storyline to come in before making them. You can have every technique they know in the show. If someone is offline for 2 weeks without posting their absence in the Absence section, then the character and rank they have will be taken away and will be open to the next person who claims it.

10. Activity
You must try to be active at least two days during the week. If something comes up, tell an Admin so we do not deactivate your account. This is crucial if you plan on roleplaying. We don't need only a small number out of a handful of users posting. If your secondary character is inactive, please delete them, or tell us you're waiting for the right moment to use them if we ask.

11. Registering
When registering, your user name should be the name of your character. It doesn't matter if its First, Last; Last, First. As long as you add a space, it doesn't matter. No nicknames please. Make the beginning letters of your first and last name capital as well.

12. Ranks
To become a Hokage, Sannin, or leader of anything, you must have a very good roleplaying sample. It must be very detailed and at least 3 paragraphs long. We want the big important ranked people to be very professional in their roleplaying.

13. Relationships
If you fall in love, go wild. You can marry, date, etc. If you're on different sides (Example: Jounin falling in love with Akatsuki), go ahead and date them if you'd like. It would add drama. Please have appropriate ages. If you plan on having "lemon" topics (Sexual ._.) I'm only going to ask one thing, put "Private" in the topic title after the original title. Hentai, yaoi, and yuri are all fine.

If you like a canon pairing, you can do it in the relationships forum in the off RPG area. Don't do these anywhere else unless you're playing that character.

14. Character Approval
Only Administrators will be approving your character applications, so please, do not RP until we have approved you. If we ask you to change some things, change them, don't argue.

15. Chat Box
The chat box is for talking to friends, not to start fights. Rude behavior and remarks are not tolerated. Trolling is out of the question. Please do not make any racial remarks/jokes in the chat box, and no posting sexual influenced photos. (i.e. Porn.) If you choose to role-paly in the chat box, it will have no affect over anything you RP on the site. But there will be NO god-modding on the chat box. No making hits people can't return.

16. Character Backgrounds
Please, make these reasonably original if you are a custom character. Do not make someone who is basically a female Itachi, a male Tsunade, etc. They must be detailed and created with originality.

17. Applications
Whenever you add something new to your applications as time goes on, you must tell and Admin to unlock it and state what your are going to do to it.

18. Behavior
No racist, sexist, or homophobic behavior. No insulting another member because of their race, gender, sexuality, or religion. This will not be tolerated.

19. Cannon Character Challenge
- Just as the name states: One person whom currently holds a cannon character can be challenged at any given time.

- Principles are simple; should X, owner of a Cannon character, be challenged by Y, whom wants the cannon character, then the two will fight with the SAME character that is being fought over. This means that everything in the fight is equal, whoever wins, has won by skill alone, due to everything being the same.

- Y must PM X letting them know that they have been challenged and make a thread clearly distincting what it is.

- Should X not comply within 48 hours, they lose the fight and their character (excluding the fact if they have a valid reason to be away).

- Anyone who does not post within 48 hours, loses the match automatically. If Y loses, he cannot re apply for a position battle for 2 weeks. X keeps his character and gets respect.

20. Techniques in Application

The name is clear enough, though the explanation is rather simple and subtle for all you moaners out there. If you don't have the techs or ability description listed in your apps, you can't do anything apart from whats in your application.

Family: Wind

You put no description on what your jutsu does, you can't do ANYTHING, you can't use wind to your liking, you cannot do anything, you need to put a description on your ability and the techs you can do.
